Amendments regarding fees for granting a concession license for refineries in order to build a refinery for the processing of crude oil and its functioning as well in relation to the fee required for license renewal

On 12.10.2016, with decision no. 717, the Council of Ministers decided to approve some amendments to Decision no. 19, dated 14.1.2015 ”On the procedures and conditions for issuing, transfer and renewal of the concession license of refineries that process crude oil to produce its derivatives” regarding the payment that must be made for receiving the concession license to build refinery to process crude oil and its functioning is done according to the following classification, for a fee of:

– 10,000,000 (ten million) ALL for refineries with a processing capacity of up to 100 000 tonnes;

– 20,000,000 (twenty million) ALL for refineries with a processing capacity of 100 000 tons to 200 000 tons;

– 30,000,000 (thirty million) ALL for refineries with a processing capacity between 200 000 tons and 300 000 tons;

– 50,000,000 (fifty million) ALL for refineries with a processing capacity of 300 000 tons.

Other amendments are made to paragraph 6 of Chapter III according to which b) the  fee must be paid by the subject holder of permit to the account of the institution and the proceeds are deposited in the state budget.
