Order on the approval of regulation “On organizing, functioning and compound of Commission of Standardization of Tourism Activities

Minister of Economic Development, Tourism, Trade and Enterprise, by order no.101, approved regulation “On organization, functioning and compound of Commission of Standardization of Tourism Activities”, which defines the way of organization of the Commission, its duties, responsibilities as well as their practicing and implementation.

According to the respective regulation, the Commission is a collegial, decision-making authority, established nearby the respective ministry, responsible of analyzing the requests on certification of tourism activities of tourist guide and classification of accommodation structures foreseen by law and respective sublegal acts. The duties and responsibilities of the Commission are further defined by article 5.

Furthermore, the regulation determines the compound, organization of the Commission by specifying that the Commission established by order of the respective minister of tourism, consist on 5 members, respectively by three representatives of Ministry of Economic Development, Tourism, Trade and Enterprise, one representative of Ministry of Urban Development and one representative of Ministry of Culture.

Finally, the regulation determines that the Commission makes a decision regarding the licensing of the respective certificate of every individual request made by the interested parties, in accordance with the terms defined by sublegal acts which are relevant for the matter.
