Amendments and additions to decision no. 725, dated 2.9.2015, of the Council of Ministers, “On the manner of organization and functioning of the Territorial Development Agency”

The Council of Ministers, by decision no. 739, dated 13.12.2017, decided to make some amendments and additions to its decision no. 725, date 02.09.2015. With the amendments made to decision no. 725 of 2015, the Territorial Development Agency is subordinated to the Prime Minister. As a consequence, the General Director of the Territorial Development Agency is appointed, released and dismissed by order of the Prime Minister in accordance with the legislation in force. Whereas, the Deputy General Director, who is, at the same time, a Director of a Directorate, is appointed, released and dismissed by the General Director. Also, some amendments have been made to letters “dh” and “ë” of paragraph 1 of Chapter III, where the words “… integrated territory register …” are replaced by “… electronic system permits … “. Lastly, it is worth mentioning the new responsibility that is added to the Territorial Development Agency to represent the National Territorial Council in all matters subject to judicial review related to the decisions adopted and the procedures carried out by the National Territorial Council.
